Day of the Dead, nov 2 2008
It's coming!
Every year kitten and I visit some of the places that put up expositions in rememberance of this day. Last sunday we went to coyoacan to see the traditional altars that are put up representing how some of the states remember their dead. These altars are traditionally put inside the houses in "honor of their dead".
On Halloween we went to Reforma (one of the main streets of Mexico City it's where the biggest museums are, the US embassy is on this street too, the Angel of Independence, you get the idea) and I am posting some of the Altars that where on show (they where made by businesses, schools, museums, etc)
Sunday, Day of the Dead, we went to Zocalo and that's my faviest place for Altars! so here is the whole collection
